Drive incremental project revenue by increasing project quotation volume and cross-reference capabilities. Deliver added value through enhanced service levels for external customers coupled with improved productivity for the direct selling resources.


  • Prepares project quotes in detail for specified Trade customers within a variety of verticals
  • Acts as quotation consultant to internal sales representatives
  • Ensures strategic pricing and margin guidelines are adhered to within each Region
  • Provides all relevant documentation with all quotations
  • Actively builds quotations and proposals with cross reference mind-set to drive incremental opportunities in revenue and product portfolio.
  • Analyze project specifications and identify opportunities to displace competitive specifications through alternate proposals; and build competitive and market awareness on an ongoing basis
  • Liaise with trade sales team to provide pipeline viewpoint related to projects by industry sector, region and customer
  • Develop and implement a reporting process to track and monitor ‘conversion rate’ and recommend measures to consistently improve upon spec / quote to sale ratio
  • Works effectively to build long-lasting customer relationships at all levels




  • Bachelor’s or relevant University degree and/ or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in commercial, institutional, hospital, industrial and residential plumbing projects
  • Understanding of estimating techniques and in depth knowledge of value engineering, design build, design assist, plus industry standards, practices and processes that impact the bid
  • Specific plumbing fixtures product and application knowledge including various manufacturers specifically required
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical documentation including CADD drawings, Blueprints, Submittals as required
  • Superior critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional planning and organization skills with versatility and flexibility to complete competing time-sensitive priorities
  • Able to work in a team and independently, with varying levels of management.
  • Ability to develop excellent cross-functional relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Proficient computer skills (MS-Office, Advanced Excel , Powerpoint)
  • Prior experience with SAP BI/BW/SD and query based reporting a strong asset
  •      Bilingual French and English is a definite asset
