Overview

Reporting to the National Install Manager, this role will serve as the lead field trainer for all independent contractors recruited to complete installations of our innovative walk-in-tubs and showers. This position requires extensive plumbing, carpentry, electric and residential installation experience with a hands-on training skillset.

 

The National Field Installation Trainer (NFIT) will coordinate with Regional Installation Managers and the National Install Manager to conduct Installer Product Orientation sessions at our manufacturing facility and travel extensively to train new installers on how to install WIT, WIS and Bidet Seats. The NFIT will randomly conduct on-site inspections and installers to identify areas for improvement or removal. The NFIT will also assist with the most urgent service tickets and customer complaints attributable to workmanship and product failures. The NFIT will also conduct over the phone trouble shooting assistance for installers as needed during installations or service calls.

 

This position will be measured on the ability to reduce service costs, reduce workmanship related service calls, improve customer survey scores and improve compliance with all standard operating procedures through training, compliance and the development of more detailed standard installation techniques for existing and future products. Extensive weekly travel required (50-75%) with strong independent work ethic and ability to prioritize responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct onsite installation evaluations with new independent contractors.
  • Assist install management team with Installer Product Orientations and Factory Tours.
  • Support Install management team to develop new training documentation and videos.
  • Develop training curriculum, product installation manual and other SOP documentation as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot urgent service tickets related to product failures and workmanship.
  • Work with install management team to evaluate new products and installation techniques.
  • Support National Install Manager with other installation needs as required.

Qualifications

  • 5 - 10 Years relevant residential installation and minimum 2 years training background required.
  • Certification or licensing in Electric, Carpentry and Plumbing trades preferred.
  • Unyielding focus on 100% compliance for all data needs.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and utilize technology for organizing large amounts of data.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skill sets, as applicable in a technical and professional environment.
