Overview

The eCommerce Manager will manage all aspects of direct eCommerce web-shop in order to achieve fiscal sales and profitability targets.

The manager will be directly responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive online shop strategy, including direct sales, promotions, content creation/management, design development and implementation. This role will support online sales efforts in the USA, Canada, and Latin America and overall strategic planning for the on-line business. The performance of this role will significantly contribute to the delivery of LWT Americas objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations that support e-commerce business including but not limited to, sales planning, forecasting, & reporting, web analytics, digital marketing, and operations & logistics
  • Manage and execute the brand merchandising calendar in collaboration with brand team that achieve sales and marketing objectives
  • Work with IT and other key stakeholders to implement processes and structure for on-line purchases
  • Plan and develop strategies to continuously improve and optimize the online experience
  • Manage forecast of inventory – point of contact for product availability
  • Work cross-functionally with product management, marketing, and supply chain to ensure product is on time, to meet sales goals
  • Work closely with finance and accounting to ensure sales are reported accurately
  • Understands and is subject matter expert for online and mobile shopping trends, maintains advanced knowledge of competition, emerging trends, and opportunities (acts as “on-line store manager”)
  • Has a deep understanding of the online buying & transaction experience in an effort to identify and fill product gaps, generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drives significant sales growth

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of proven e-commerce web-shop sales experience
  • Results driven and motivated individual who takes initiative, with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Expertise to translate shopper insights and unique channel strategies into key action plans
  • Expertise in digital marketing and marketing drivers of online sales
  • Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team
  • Strong aptitude for utilizing emerging technologies and working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM
