The Director of IT, Infrastructure will have leadership responsibilities and fiscal accountability within the overall IT department. He/She will serve as a part of the IT management team and provide guidance and advice within the department. This role will lead all IT Infrastructure related tasks and initiatives and it will manage a diverse team of professionals that support the infrastructure services with Lixil Water Technology Americas (includes US, Canada, Mexico, DR, LatAm and China office operations).


  • Partner with Business stake holders to assist them in meeting their goals and objectives
  • Implement new IT Transformation Strategy based on CIO and business leadership team’s guidance
  • Collaborating and working with other IT groups while providing key inputs and guidance for the overall management of IT
  • Developing system and organizational roadmaps that ensure business and service continuity
  • Program and project management of key projects as well as mentoring of other project managers
  • Management of key vendors, contractors, and cloud providers
  • Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements including J-Sox (Sarbanes Oxley)
  • Managing annual fiscal planning and budgets for the infrastructure group
  • Design and specify future infrastructure deployments with considerations for capacity, availability, security, and interoperability and ranges all the way from the underlying hardware to the application tier
  • Revisit Data-Center Operations to reduce expenditure and invest in Cloud technology
  • Implement State of the Art SD-WAN Network for all of our offices, show rooms, distribution centers and manufacturing facilities
  • Implement and manage a recurring process to Secure our Network and Data
  • Manage IT Infrastructure cost center and deliver technology and services based on preset budget (mission)
  • Direct and respond to infrastructure outages, including technical troubleshooting and situation management
  • Ensure issues are resolved within defined SLAs
  • Collaborate and partner with Lixil Corporate IT department to implement initiatives with Global IT scope
  • Participate in Lixil Global CTO summits as required
  • Establish SLAs and KPIs aligned to business objectives
  • Accountable for quality of services and solutions delivered
  • Create the IT infrastructure for the company to include all aspects of technology operations (including Help Desk, network management, telephony, cloud services, database management, storage and business continuity/disaster recovery, etc.)
  • Manage vendor relationships and renegotiate contracts to reduce cost
  • Oversee procurement of software and hardware and management of IT assets and inventory
  • Ability and willingness to handle many big team initiatives simultaneously
  • Provide configuration management and accurately assess the impact of modifications and vulnerabilities for each information security system
  • Maintain appropriate operational information assurance posture for programs
  • Developing effective, efficient, and rigorous processes and methodologies which include monitoring and reporting
  • Recruiting, hiring, mentoring and developing of the team


  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in IT Management with increasing responsibilities
  • Demonstrated organization and team building skills
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Business or Computer Science; or equivalent,
  • 10 Years’ experience in discipline Project Management methodologies
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask across multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to work effectively with internal or international teams and external vendors in a collaborative environment
  • PMP, ITIL certification desirable
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
