This position is responsible for developing and managing a strong project business pipeline and providing professional account management for those clients based within the defined territory/region, who are focused on relevant project business. The incumbent will have responsibility for driving project sales growth in two ways: influencing the specification of new projects, and identifying and winning new project contracts. This role will be based in Montreal


  • Drive profitable sales growth for all Lixil brands.
  • Develop, execute and monitor customer business plans as assigned (annual and QBR)
  • Proactively seek out specification opportunities and create specifications and project proposals with appropriate value-driven solutions
  • Work with quotations to identify relevant job leads and opportunities as well as maintain updated pipeline of projects and drive conversion/project wins
  • Develop and manage a robust project pipeline and follow project all through the cycle from demand to successful conversion/project wins
  • Deploy CRM tools to track and measure project pipeline and conversion
  • Serve as liaison/broker with sales agents and direct activities of field agents to support one LIXIL selling
  • Guided by LIXIL values, work with cross- team and cross-functional stakeholders (sales, marketing, supply chain, finance) to communicate opportunities and ensure execution of customer plans, and forecasting of product demand.
  • Create demand by establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships with: developers/owners, wholesale customers, engineers and specifiers, sales agencies and contractors
  • Identify and participate in industry and customer marketing/specification events to maximize exposure, new business opportunities and drive pipeline and endorser network growth
  • Gain early adoption of new products through influencers, decision-makers and wholesalers in respective market segments

  • French/English bilingual required
  • 5+ years previous sales related experience in the luxury plumbing or building materials industry, ideally with a brand name company
  • College / University education with a preference for business/commerce. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.  
  • Demonstrated experience in account development, consultative selling and negotiations
  • Self-directed and results oriented with a track record of improving results
  • Highly developed relationship building skills, ability to build credibility and influence within and outside the Trade Team
  • Exceptional and professional communication and presentation skills
  • Strong technical, analytical, business, planning and problem-solving ability
  • Team player, able to work in a matrix environment
  • Aptitude for utilizing emerging technologies and proficiency with CRM, MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and outlook.
  • Able to travel as needed to support business in the assigned region
