  • Overview

    This position, reporting to the President and GM of LIXIL Home Services, is responsible for developing and executing on the strategy plan to drive profitable growth in both existing and new markets in all channels and regions.  Specifically this person is responsible for driving and executing the product vision.  This role requires an experienced individual with proven ability to lead the end-to-end product development process, from initial product ideation, through business case development, detailed design, operationalization, and outcomes measurement.



    • Develop, manage and execute product roadmap in alignment with company strategic goals, market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer needs
    • Identify relevant product category opportunities to facilitate the continued growth of our LHS business
    • Drive product innovation ensuring highly engaging products with high ease of use and install
    • Build and lead an effective and efficient product organization, including product management, engineering, user experience, product testing, and consumer engagement
    • Anticipate, identify and internally communicate potential business risks and offer strategic and tactical options to meet goals
    • Establish partnerships with key outside resources (suppliers, contractors etc.) to help enhance the value of our products
    • Provide leadership and support of cross function teaming across other business function groups in support of NPD process
    • Collaborate and build strong relationships with all cross-functional teams
    • Conduct supplier surveys to include a review of supplier’s quality, capacity, design capabilities, financial stability and lead-time
    • Conduct negotiation for pricing, cost reductions and payment terms


    • 5+ years of prior experience of plumbing/building products, product management and development
    • 10+ years' experience managing, developing and leading a team
    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing and/or Business Management
    • Exceptional people manager, driving growth and high-performance in individuals and teams 
    • Effective in driving vendor partnerships 
    • Exceptional strategic leadership skills, with the ability to establish product strategy, as well as vision and strategy for the product management team
    • Expertise with full product life cycle, including optimization of pre-launch, live operations, and long term processes and knowledge of how to manage stakeholders at each stage
    • Strong analytical skills and experience with data driven product improvements and decision making
