  • Overview

    The Account Manager will drive the overall sales plan and implement a strategy that focuses on achieving the sales plan for the current year. The person in this role will work with existing and new customers to include: wholesalers, developers/owners, and contractors and other key influencers to drive sales across all LWTA product categories

    This role will be based in the Greater Toronto Area



    • Drive profitable sales growth for all Lixil brand in assigned segment/region
    • Develop, execute and monitor customer business plans as assigned (annual and QBR)
    • Manage, monitor and control the entire sales process life cycle from lead to closing
    • Create demand by establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships with: developers/owners, wholesale customers and contractors
    • Work with quotations to identify relevant job leads and opportunities as well as maintain updated pipeline of projects and drive conversion/project wins. Use CRM tools to track and measure.
    • Guided by LIXIL values, work with cross- team and cross-functional stakeholders (sales, marketing, supply chain, finance) to communicate opportunities and ensure execution of customer plans, and forecasting of product demand.
    • Develop, prepare and deliver customer specific sales presentations
    • Support development of activities to increase product knowledge to assigned customer(s) account(s)
    • Develop, plan and co-ordinate regional customer events
    • Identify and participate in industry and customer marketing/specification events to maximize exposure, new business opportunities and drive pipeline and endorser network growth
    • Gain early adoption of new products through influencers, decision-makers and wholesalers in respective market segments
    • Liaise with marketing to share trends, market intelligence; identify and quantify market opportunities


    • 3+ years selling experience. Plumbing experience a plus but not mandatory
    • College/University education with a preference for business/commerce. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
    • Experience in account development, consultative selling and negotiations
    • Self-directed and results-oriented with a track record of improving results
    • Well-developed relationship building skills, ability to build credibility and influence within and outside the Trade Team
    • Exceptional and professional communication and presentation skills
    • Strong technical, analytical, business, planning and problem-solving ability
    • Team player, able to work in a matrix environment
    • Aptitude for utilizing emerging technologies and working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, SAP and CRM tools.
    • Able to travel as needed to support business in assigned region.
