  • Overview

    The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting the human resources operations at LHS, with particular focus on the DFW call center site and field sales and install teams.


    • Lead employee relations for DFW site and field install and sales teams, including responding to employment related questions and concerns raised by employees; conducting investigations; and making recommendations for resultant corrective actions and/or employee discipline.
    • Take ownership of talent acquisition process to fill critical roles, utilizing organizational tools and resources effectively.
    • Administer employee performance management process including probationary performance reviews and discipline through consistent application of company policies.
    • Manage hourly employee attendance program.
    • Conduct new hire orientation.
    • Perform HRIS data entry.
    • Maintain personnel files for salaried employees.
    • Administer salaried employee time and attendance reporting.
    • Administer and support benefit and retirement programs for DFW site employees.
    • Manage STD, FMLA & unemployment claims for all DFW site & field team employees including attending in person or telephone unemployment hearings with the State of Ohio. Partner with EH&S to manage any workers’ compensation (WC) claims, attend WC hearings as required.
    • Prepare weekly & monthly human resources KPI reports required by site and corporate management.
    • Update salaried employee job descriptions in accordance with business needs.
    • Assist in executing corporate programs (i.e. performance review, personal development plans, employee surveys, etc.).
    • Perform required payroll duties during.


    • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Minimum of 3 years of human resources experience, with strong involvement and proven track record in employee relations
    • Occasional regional travel to various sites and hearings
    • Excellent computer skills
    • Strong sense of urgency
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Handling sensitive issues with diplomacy and demonstrating respect for people from all background
