  • Overview

    Prepares and enters incoming customer and internal orders into the SAP system for the customers assigned.  Interfaces with sales, supply chain, marketing and customer care teams. 



    • Preps all orders prior to entry to ensure required data is available.  If information is missing the service rep may contact sales, sales operations, pricing team or the customer via fax, email, or telephone to resolve order discrepancies.  This work is considered high priority as orders need to be processed in a timely manner.
    • Enter manual orders into SAP system. 
    • Manage EDI received order discrepancies
    • Validates all orders for pricing and special customer instructions.  Sends price discrepancies to customers where applicable.  Also follows up with sales operations/sales associates if the customer does not respond to the price discrepancy notification.  Sense of urgency necessary.
    • Works together with regional customer care team to ensure orders are processed timely and accurately.
    • Conduct special project work as necessary and address other issues regarding day to day business with the customer.
    • Possess an understanding of pricing programs and promotions and effectively communicate this to our customers.


    Minimum 4 years Customer Service/Order Entry or equivalent experience required.
    SAP or similar system experience required.
    High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
    Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
    Self-motivated with a desire to learn.
    Ability to work independently while in a team environment. 
    Ability to work within a fast paced customer care environment, understanding the urgency of customer needs.
    Weekends and some overtime may be required.
