  • Overview

    Reporting to the National Install Manager (NIM), the Regional Install Manager (RIM) will own the Installation Capability within his/her assigned geography.  The RIM operates the Region at or above key metrics in the following areas:  Install capacity, Install quality, Install cost, Job completions and Customer experience.  The RIM manages the Region according to the NIM’s functional strategy and vision, but will also be expected to initiate local and regional programs as needed to excel in the key areas listed above.

    Responsibilities


    • Monitors existing installers for quality and consistency with the National expectations.

    • Manages technical and customer escalations within the region.

    • Delivers monthly completions targets by ensuring jobs are scheduled and completed in a reasonable time frame. Takes leadership role in resolving pre-install or post-install issues with installer, customer and sales ops.

    • Measures existing installers against all metrics and execute a constantly evolving strategy that optimizes over-performing installers, while reducing exposure to under-performing installers

    • Partners with talent acquisition staff to identify and recruit new installers within region

    • Trains new installers within region

    • Maintains regular focus on job cost metric via invoicing submittals and work order analysis

    • Expands the efficiency of the entire production team (Install + Sales Ops) by creating tools and/or processes that improve on our key metrics

    Qualifications

    Experience: Two to four years of experience in construction, home improvement or residential remodeling field. Must be computer literate in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong communication skills that enable challenging discussions with Installer network and/or customers, ability to relate to distinct audiences including customers, sales representatives, installers, and various levels of management. Must be professional and have a good command of business English. Ability to multi-task. Significant travel required, up to 75% or greater. Field position, location flexible. Minimum of associate’s degree or equivalent experience in construction-related field.
