    Reporting to the Director, Consumer & Shopper Insights, the Manager of Consumer & Shopper Insights will design and deliver research to ensure the “voice of the consumer” is represented across LIXIL Water Technology Americas (LWTA) decision related to brands and products.  The Manager will work as a business partner and consumer insight consultant in support of strategy, marketing, sales, and product innovation development.

    Responsibilities

    • Acts as a strategic partner and consumer insight consultant to the business, leveraging primary and secondary research to diagnose or understand business issues
    • Provide consumer insight via; brand health & loyalty studies, market positioning work, segmentation, concept testing, brand health, path-to-purchase, feature optimization, etc.
    • Work with all functional areas including Marketing, R&D, Sales, Customer Care and Finance to establish & deliver prioritized research projects
    • Ensure that the appropriate methodologies and techniques are used to meet business objectives and timelines.  
    • Interpret and synthesize multi-source data to insights that will lead to actionable strategies and plans for our brands
    • Present results of research in order to ensure consumer insights are integrated into decision making
    • Work with outside vendors to conduct research
    • Owns quality of all consumer & shopper research
    • Pursues both technical and business self-development
    • Identify & recommend new research protocols
    • Manage projects within budget

    Qualifications

    • Advanced degree preferred
    • 5+ years experience in client-side Consumer & Shopper Insights
    • Supplier management
