  • Overview

    The Maintenance Tool and Die Supervisor will be accountable for supervising all Tool & Die related personnel in the maintenance department. This individual’s responsibility will include scheduling and planning of die repairs, establishing PM programs, troubleshooting, along with the repair and altering of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures as necessary for normal day to day operations.


    • Follow all aspects of the American Standard Brands safety program and support operations to achieve plant metrics by improving production yields, output, and uptime– 25%
    • Supervise and schedule team of hourly Tool & Die related personnel and/or contractors to ensure required maintenance is performed - 25%
    • Provide strong leadership through troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic press set ups, tooling, and dies to achieve quality and throughput requirements for deep draw operation – 20%
    • Sustain a preventative maintenance tooling program and continue to drive towards reliability
    • excellence – 20%
    • Identify and utilize quality cost-efficient contractors – 10%


    • HS Diploma/GED required; college or trade school degree preferred.
    • Tool & Die journeyman’s card/completed apprenticeship or 5 years of Tool & Die experience required.
    • 10 years of experience in deep draw operations preferred.
    • 5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
    • Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints/schematics required.
    • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics and CNC routers preferred
    • Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical forming/trimming along with vacuum forming preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to set priorities, problem solve, and execute in order to meet deadlines.
    • Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Outlook)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
