  • Overview

    Responsible for continuously improving the overall Sales, Operations, and Inventory Planning process for by implementing best practices and driving accountability. Directs and facilitates the Demand, Supply, and Sales Partnership steps for all brands, channels, and plants. Supports the organizational focus of effectively achieving the four key deliverables of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

    Responsibilities

    • Drive the Annual Operating Plan for the group, ensuring targets are met are exceeded throughout the year
    • Development of long-term plans for the business that support the organizational strategies, including roadmap and footprint reviews
    • Achieve objectives through effective leadership and direction of the teams
    • Ensure continuous improvement of the overall Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning process for the Americas and driving accountability
    • Partner with Finance, Sales, and Operations to link SOIP process with financial forecast
    • Develop consistent processes and implement best practices in alignment with SOIP process
    • Manage SOIP process and associated action plans, issue resolution, escalation, and tracking
    • Drive SOIP maturity and accountability with the stakeholders using tools, training and execution of the process
    • Identify new Demand and Supply forecasting techniques or technologies to improve overall SOIP process
    • Coach stakeholders on strategies for enabling the business enterprise to respond effectively to the demand and supply variability
    • Manage cadence of regular meetings and presentations to ensure alignment and effective outcomes across stakeholders in the process
    • Use statistical analysis to determine impact and correlation and leading or lagging indicators
    • Drive accountability and process improvement based on key performance metrics and targets.
    • Serve as the organization Subject Matter Expert for the SOIP process

    Qualifications

    • Education: Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Finance, or related field is required, a Master’s degree is preferred
    • Knowledge: Deep / Expert Level in Forecasting Systems and Techniques and ERP and Supply Chain Systems (SAP preferred), End-to-End SC and Manufacturing knowledge preferred
    • Experience: Minimum of 15 years in a Supply Chain/Manufacturing role; 7-10 years of leadership experience
    • Proven leadership and team management skills with strong analytical, communication, and presentation capabilities
    • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues, to initiate actions, and to make effective decisions
    • Experience in championing and driving change; thought leadership
    • Spanish language skills a plus
    • Approximately 20% travel required

    **Compensation and Title (Senior Director or VP) will be commensurate with experience
